وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ Qur’an Yunus (10:42)

Waminhum man yastamiAAoona ilayka afaanta tusmiAAu a l ss umma walaw k a noo l a yaAAqiloon a

And there are among them such as [pretend to] listen to thee: but canst thou cause the deaf to hearken even though they will not use their reason?
