وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ Qur’an Al-Baqara (2:11)

And when they are told, "Do not spread corruption on earth," they answer, "We are but improving things!"
