Surah 23. Al-Muminun, Ayah 31

ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا ءَاخَرِينَ Qur’an Al-Muminun (23:31)

Thumma anshan a min baAAdihim qarnan a khareen a

AND AFTER those [people of old] We gave rise to new generations;¹⁶

Then We raised after them a new generation (the people of 'Ad),

Then We raised another generation after them,

Then, after them, We brought forth another generation;

Then We raised after them another generation;
