Surah 29. Al-Ankabut, Ayah 39

وَقَـٰرُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ سَـٰبِقِينَ

Waq a roona wafirAAawna wah a m a na walaqad j a ahum moos a bi a lbayyin a ti fa i stakbaroo fee alar d i wam a k a noo s a biqeen a

And [thus, too, did We deal with] Qarun and Pharaoh, and Haman:³⁵ to them had come Moses with all evidence of the truth, but they behaved arrogantly on earth [and rejected him]; and withal, they could not escape [Us].

Musa (Moses) came to Qarun (Korah), Fir'on (Pharaoh) and Haman with clear signs but they remained arrogant in the land; yet they could not go ahead of Us.

'We' also 'destroyed' Korah, Pharaoh, and Haman. Indeed, Moses had come to them with clear proofs, but they behaved arrogantly in the land. Yet they could not escape 'Us'.

And Korah, Pharaoh and Haman! Moses came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's sovereignty), but they were boastful in the land. And they were not winners (in the race).
