Surah 41. Fussilat, Ayah 13

فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا۟ فَقُلْ أَنذَرْتُكُمْ صَـٰعِقَةً مِّثْلَ صَـٰعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ Qur’an Fussilat (41:13)

Fain aAAra d oo fuqul an th artukum sa AAiqatan mithla sa AAiqati AA a din wathamood a

BUT IF they turn away,¹⁶ say: "I warn you of [the coming of] a thunderbolt of punishment¹⁷ like the thunderbolt [that fell upon the tribes] of 'Ad and Thamud!"¹⁸

Now if they turn away, say to them: "I have given you warning of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt which struck Ad and Thamud."
