Surah 45. Al-Jathiya, Ayah 35
ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ ٱتَّخَذْتُمْ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ Qur’an Al-Jathiya (45:35)Tha likum biannakumu ittakha th tum a y a ti All a hi huzuwan wagharratkumu al h ay a tu a l dduny a fa a lyawma l a yukhrajoona minh a wal a hum yustaAAtaboon a
this, because you made God's messages the target of your mockery, having allowed the life of this world to beguile you!31 On that Day, therefore, they will not be brought out of the fire,32 nor will they be allowed to make amends.

Mohammad AsadThis is because you used to take Allah's revelations as a joke and you let the worldly life deceive you." Therefore, on this Day neither they shall be taken out of hell, nor shall they be given a chance for amending their ways to please their Rabb.
