Surah 49. Al-Hujurat, Ayah 17
يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا۟ ۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَىَّ إِسْلَـٰمَكُم ۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَىٰكُمْ لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
Yamunnoona AAalayka an aslamoo qul l a tamunnoo AAalayya isl a makum bali All a hu yamunnu AAalaykum an had a kum lileem a ni in kuntum sa diqeen a Many people21 think that they have bestowed a favour upon thee [O Prophet] by having surrendered [to thee].22 Say thou: "Deem not your surrender a favour unto me: nay, but it is God who bestows a favour upon you by showing you the way to faith - if you are true to your word!"

They think they have conferred upon you a favor by embracing Islam. Tell them: "You have conferred upon me no favor by accepting Islam. It was Allah Who has conferred a favor upon you in guiding you to the true faith; admit this, if you are men of truth.
