Surah 6. Al-An'am, Ayah 116
وَإِن تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ Qur’an Al-An'am (6:116)Wain tu t iAA akthara man fee alar d i yu d illooka AAan sabeeli All a hi in yattabiAAoona ill a a l thth anna wain hum ill a yakhru s oon a
Now if thou pay heed unto the majority of those [who live] on earth, they will but lead thee astray from the path of God: they follow but [other people's] conjectures, and they themselves do nothing but guess.103
