٢٢. لَّا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومًا مَّخْذُولًا
[22] Do not associate another deity with Allah,24 otherwise you shall he reduced to a state of ignominy and helplessness.
24Or it can be rendered like this: "Do not invent another deity besides Allah", or "Do not set up another as a deity beside Allah."
