51وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٍ
[51] When We bless man, he turns away and grows stiff necked;67 but when an evil touches him, he comes with lengthy supplications.68
67That is, "He turns away from Our obedience and worship, and thinks it is below his dignity to bow to Us. "
