Sahih Muslim Book - 1, Hadith - 189

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ جَاءَ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ هُمْ أَرَقُّ أَفْئِدَةً وَأَضْعَفُ قُلُوبًا الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ السَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ وَالْفَخْرُ وَالْخُيَلَاءُ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَهْلِ الْوَبَرِ قِبَلَ مَطْلِعِ الشَّمْسِ.

It was narrated from Az-Zuhri: "Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab told me that Abu Hurairah said: 'I heard the Prophet (s.a.w) say: "The people of Yemen have come, and they are kind and tenderhearted. (True) faith is that of the Yemenis, (true) wisdom is that of the Yemenis, tranquility is among the people of sheep, and pride and arrogance are among the uncouth people of tents, in the direction of the sunrise."
