Sahih Muslim Book - 11, Hadith - 2219
وَحَدَّثَنِى أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنِى يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عَدِىٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنِى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ نَافِعٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ. نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ غَيْرَ أَنَّ حَدِيثَ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ النَّبِىُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « إِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْجَنَازَةَ فَلْيَقُمْ حِينَ يَرَاهَا حَتَّى تُخَلِّفَهُ إِذَا كَانَ غَيْرَ مُتَّبِعِهَا ».
A Hadith similar to that of Al-Laith bin Sa'd was narrated from Nafi (no. 2217)' with this chain, but in the Hadith of Ibn Juraij it says: "The Prophet (s.a.w) said: 'If one of you sees a funeral, let him stand up when he sees it, until it has passed him by, if he is not going to follow it.'"
