It was narrated from Aishah [may Allah be pleased with her] that a man came to the Prophet and asked him a question, while she was listening from behind the door. He said: “The time for prayers comes while I am junub; can I fast?” The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Me too; the time of prayers comes while I am Junub and I fast.” He said: “You are not like us; O messenger of Allah, for Allah has forgiven your past and future sins.” He said: “By Allah, I hope that I am the one who fears Allah the most among you, and the most knowledgeable of that which I should guard against.”
