It was narrated from Ibn Abbas [May Allah be pleased with them] said: “The Messenger of Allah (SAW) defined the Miqat of the people of the Al-Madinah as Dhul- Hulaifah; that of the people of Ash-Sham as Al-Juhfah ; that of the people of Najd as Qarn Al-Manazil; and that of the people of Yemen as Yalamlam. And he said: ‘And these Mawaqit are for the people at those very places, and besides them for those who come through those places with the intention of performing Hajj and Umrah; and whoever is living within these boundaries can (begin the Talbiyah) from the places he start, and the people of Makkah can start from Makkah.’ ”
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
