حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِىُّ وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنِى زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنِى إِسْمَاعِيلُ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ. بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ. وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ النَّبِىَّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- إِلاَّ فِى أَوَّلِ الْحَدِيثِ حِينَ قِيلَ لَهُ يَصُدُّوكَ عَنِ الْبَيْتِ. قَالَ إِذًا أَفْعَلَ كَمَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم-. وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِى آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ هَكَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم-. كَمَا ذَكَرَهُ اللَّيْثُ.
This narration was narrated from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, but he only mentioned the Prophet (SAW) at the beginning of the Hadith, when it was said to him: “You will be prevented from reaching the House.” He said: “Then I will do what the Messenger of Allah (SAW) did.” And it does not say at the end of the Hadith: “This is what the Messenger of Allah (SAW) did,” as Al-Laith said (in no. 2992).
