وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِىُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ - يَعْنِى ابْنَ بَكْرٍ - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِى أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ طَافَ النَّبِىُّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ لِيَرَاهُ النَّاسُ وَلِيُشْرِفَ وَلِيَسْأَلُوهُ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ غَشُوهُ. وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ ابْنُ خَشْرَمٍ وَلِيَسْأَلُوهُ فَقَطْ.
Jabir bin Abdullah said: “During the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Prophet (SAW) circumambulated the House and went between As-Safa and Al-Marwah on his mount, so that the people could see him and so that he could see them, and so that they could ask him questions, for the people had crowded around him.”
