Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 3109
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ قُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ رُمْحٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ. قَالَ ابْنُ رُمْحٍ فِى رِوَايَتِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْخَطْمِىِّ وَكَانَ أَمِيرًا عَلَى الْكُوفَةِ عَلَى عَهْدِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ.
It was narrated from Yahya bin Saeed with this chain (a Hadith similar to no. 3108). Ibn Rumh said in his report: “It was narrated from Abdullah bin Yazid Al-Khutmi, who was governor of Al-Kufah during the time of Ibn Az-Zubair.”
