وَحَدَّثَنِى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِى أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ اشْتَرَكْنَا مَعَ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ كُلُّ سَبْعَةٍ فِى بَدَنَةٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لِجَابِرٍ أَيُشْتَرَكُ فِى الْبَدَنَةِ مَا يُشْتَرَكُ فِى الْجَزُورِ قَالَ مَا هِىَ إِلاَّ مِنَ الْبُدْنِ. وَحَضَرَ جَابِرٌ الْحُدَيْبِيَةَ قَالَ نَحَرْنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ سَبْعِينَ بَدَنَةً اشْتَرَكْنَا كُلُّ سَبْعَةٍ فِى بَدَنَةٍ.
It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah said: “We participated in Hajj and Umrah with the Prophet (SAW) every seven sharing a camel (for sacrifice).” Jabir was present at Al-Hudaybiyah. He said: “On that day we sacrificed seventy camels, every seven of us sharing a camel.”
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."

"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
