Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 3223
حَدَّثَنِى أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ أَحْمَدُ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَتْ طَمِثَتْ صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ حُيَىٍّ زَوْجُ النَّبِىِّ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِى حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ بَعْدَ مَا أَفَاضَتْ طَاهِرًا بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ.
It was narrated from Ibn Shihab with this chain. She said: “Safiyyah bint Huyayy, the wife of the Prophet (SAW), got her menses during the Farewell Pilgrimage, after she had done Tawaf Al-Ifadah in a state of purity…” a hadith like that of Al-Laith (no. 3223).
