حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِىُّ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ هُوَ وَأُسَامَةُ وَبِلاَلٌ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ الْحَجَبِىُّ فَأَغْلَقَهَا عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ مَكَثَ فِيهَا. قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ فَسَأَلْتُ بِلاَلاً حِينَ خَرَجَ مَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قَالَ جَعَلَ عَمُودَيْنِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَعَمُودًا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَثَلاَثَةَ أَعْمِدَةٍ وَرَاءَهُ - وَكَانَ الْبَيْتُ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَعْمِدَةٍ - ثُمَّ صَلَّى.
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) entered the Ka‘bah, accompanied by Usamah, Bilal and ‘Uthman bin Talhah Al-Hajabi. He closed the door and remained inside. Ibn ‘Umar said: “I asked Bilal when he came out: ‘What did the Messenger of Allah (SAW) do?’ He said: ‘He put two pillars on his left, one pillar on his right, and three pillars behind him’ – and at that time the House was built on six pillars - ‘then he prayed.”
