Sahih Muslim Book - 15, Hadith - 3262
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَزَعَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِىَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أَرْبَعًا فَأَعْجَبْنَنِى وَآنَقْنَنِى نَهَى أَنْ تُسَافِرَ الْمَرْأَةُ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمَيْنِ إِلاَّ وَمَعَهَا زَوْجُهَا أَوْ ذُو مَحْرَمٍ. وَاقْتَصَّ بَاقِىَ الْحَدِيثِ.
Qaza‘ah said: “I heard Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri say: ‘I heard four things from the Messenger of Allah (SAW) that I liked and which captivated me: He forbade a woman to travel two days’ distance unless she had her husband or a Mahram with her,”’ and he quoted the rest of the Hadith (a Hadith similar to no. 3267).
