It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said: “When the Messenger of Allah (SAW) returned from a battle or expedition, or from Hajj' or ‘Umrah, when he reached the top of a hillock or high ground, he would say the Takbir three times, then he would say: ‘La ilaha illa Allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir, a’ibuna ta’ibuna ‘abiduna sajiduna lirabbina hamidun, sadaq Allahu wa‘dahu wa nasara ‘abdahu wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdah (There is none worthy of worship but Allah alone, with no partner or associate, His is the Dominion, to Him be praise, and He has power over all things. Returning, repenting, worshipping and prostrating to our Lord and praising Him. Allah has fulfilled His promise, supported His slave and defeated the confederates alone.)”’
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
Sahih Bukhari
