حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِىُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبْدَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِى نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ قَزَعَةَ عَنْ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِىِّ قَالَ ذُكِرَ الْعَزْلُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَقَالَ « وَلِمَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ - وَلَمْ يَقُلْ فَلاَ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ - فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَتْ نَفْسٌ مَخْلُوقَةٌ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ خَالِقُهَا ».
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: "Mention of 'Azl was made to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and he said: 'Why would one of you do that?' - but he did not say, one of you should not do that - 'There is no soul that is meant to be created but Allah will definitely create it."'
