It was narrated that Rib'i bin Hirash said: Hudhaifah and Abu Mas'ud met, and Hudhaifah said: "A man met his Lord, may He be glorified and exalted, and He said: 'What did you do?' He said: 'I did not do anything good, except that I was a rich man and I used to ask the people (to repay their debts); I would accept repayment from those who were well off, and I would let those who were in difficulty go.' He said: 'Let My slave go."' Abu Mas'ud said: "That is what I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saying."
