حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ - يَعْنِى الْفَزَارِىَّ - عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ « إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ وَالْقُسْطُ الْبَحْرِىُّ وَلاَ تُعَذِّبُوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ بِالْغَمْزِ ».
It was narrated that Humaid said: "Anas was asked about the earnings of a cupper..." and he mentioned a similar report (as no. 4038), except that he said: "Among the best things with which you may be treated are cupping and Al-Qust Al-Bahri (a kind of incense), and do not torment your children by pressing the back of their throats."
