Sahih Muslim Book - 22, Hadith - 4049
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِى شَيْبَةَ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِى حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- عَامَ الْفَتْحِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ - يَعْنِى أَبَا عَاصِمٍ - عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ حَدَّثَنِى يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِى حَبِيبٍ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَىَّ عَطَاءٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- عَامَ الْفَتْحِ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ.
Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) during the Year of the Conquest..." a Hadith like that of Al-Laith (no. 4048).
