حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِى جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الْجُلاَحِ أَبِى كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِى حَنَشٌ الصَّنْعَانِىُّ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ نُبَايِعُ الْيَهُودَ الْوُقِيَّةَ الذَّهَبَ بِالدِّينَارَيْنِ وَالثَّلاَثَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « لاَ تَبِيعُوا الذَّهَبَ بِالذَّهَبِ إِلاَّ وَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ ».
Fadalah bin 'Ubaid said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) on the Day of Khaibar, trading with the Jews, an Uqiyah of gold for two or three Dinar. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Do not sell gold for gold, unless it is weight for weight."'
