It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that he met the Prophet (s.a.w) in one of the streets of Al-Madinah when he was sexually impure. He slipped away and went to perform Ghusl, and the Prophet (s.a.w) noticed he was gone. When he came to him, he said: "Where were you, O Abu Hurairah?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah, you met me when I was sexually impure, and I did not like to sit with you until I had performed Ghusl." The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Subhan-Allah (Glorious is Allah)! The believer does not become impure."
