Sahih Muslim Book - 32, Hadith - 4562
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عَدِىٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى نَافِعٍ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ النَّفَلِ فَكَتَبَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ فِى سَرِيَّةٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِى مُوسَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِى أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ نَافِعٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِهِمْ.
(a similar Hadith) It was narrated that Ibn 'Awn said: I wrote to Nafi', asking him about the spoils of war. He wrote back to me (saying): Ibn 'Umar was among an expedition... (a Hadith similar to no. 4560) A Hadith like theirs was narrated from Nafi', with this chain.
