حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِى عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ بْنِ أَبِى صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- « لَوْلاَ أَنَّ رِجَالاً مِنْ أُمَّتِى ». وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فِيهِ « وَلَرَوْحَةٌ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ غَدْوَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ».
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Were it not for some men among my Ummah...' and he quoted the Hadith and said therein: 'Going out in the evening or the morning in the cause of Allah is better than this world and everything in it.'"
