Jabir bin 'Abdullah said: "The Prophet (s.a.w) led us in prayer on the Day of Nahr in Al-Madinah, and some men went and offered their Nahr, thinking that the Prophet (s.a.w) had offered his Nahr. The Prophet (s.a.w) ordered those who had offered their Nahr before him to repeat it with another Nahr, and not to offer their Nahr until the Prophet (s.a.w) had done so."
