Sahih Muslim Book - 36, Hadith - 5262

وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنَزِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ يَعْنِي أَبَا عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: إِذَا دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْتَهُ ، فَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ وَعِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ ، قَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ: لاَ مَبِيتَ لَكُمْ ، وَلاَ عَشَاءَ ، وَإِذَا دَخَلَ ، فَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ ، قَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ: أَدْرَكْتُمُ الْمَبِيتَ ، وَإِذَا لَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ ، قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُمُ الْمَبِيتَ وَالْعَشَاءَ.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that he heard the Prophet (s.a.w) say: "If a man enters his house, and mentions Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, when he enters and when he eats, the Shaitan says: 'You have no place to stay and no dinner.' But if he enters and does not mention Allah when he enters, the Shaitan says: 'You have found a place to stay.' And if he does not mention Allah when he eats, he says: 'You have found a place to stay and dinner."'
