حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ فِي حِجْرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَكَانَتْ يَدِي تَطِيشُ فِي الصَّحْفَةِ ، فَقَالَ لِي: يَا غُلاَمُ ، سَمِّ اللَّهَ ، وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ ، وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ.
It was narrated from Wahb bin Kaisan that he heard 'Umar bin Abi Salamah say: "I was under the care of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w), and my hand used to wander all over the plate. He (s.a.w) said to me: 'O young boy, say the Name of Allah and eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearest to you."'
