Anas bin Malik narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) came to us in our house, and he asked for something to drink. We milked a sheep for him, then I mixed it with water from this well of mine." He said: "I gave it to the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w). The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) drank, and Abu Bakr was on his left, 'Umar was in front of him and a Bedouin was on his right. When the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) had finished drinking, 'Umar said: 'Here is Abu Bakr, O Messenger of Allah' - pointing him out to him. But the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) gave it to the Bedouin, and not to Abu Bakr or 'Umar. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'Those who are on the right, those who are on the right, those who are on the right."' Anas said: "So it is Sunnah, so it is Sunnah, so it is Sunnah."
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."
Sunan Ibn Mājah
"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
Sahih Bukhari
