It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "I passed by the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and my Izar was trailing. He said: 'O 'Abdullah, lift up your Izar.' So I lifted it up, then he said: 'More.' So I lifted it some more, and then more and more. One of the people said: 'Up to where?' He (s.a.w) said: 'Halfway up the calf."'
