It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Prophet (s.a.w) acquired a ring of gold, then he threw it away and acquired a ring of silver, on which was engraved 'Muhammad Rasul Allah.' And he said: 'No one should have an engraving like this engraving of mine.' When he wore it, he put the stone towards his palm, and this is the ring that fell from the hand of Mu'aiqib into the well of Aris."
