حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْقَاسِمَ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَهَا ثَوْبٌ فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ ، مَمْدُودٌ إِلَى سَهْوَةٍ ، فَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: أَخِّرِيهِ عَنِّي قَالَتْ: فَأَخَّرْتُهُ فَجَعَلْتُهُ وَسَائِدَ.
It was narrated from 'Aishah that she had a cloth on which there were images, which she had placed over a niche. The Prophet (s.a.w) used to offer prayers facing it, and he said: "Take it away from me." She said: "So I tore it up and made it into cushions."
