Sahih Muslim Book - 37, Hadith - 5537
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ (ح) وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْمُصَوِّرُونَ. وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الأَشَجُّ إِنَّ.
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'The people who will be most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection will be Al-Musawwirun (the image-makers)."'
