وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَجَعَلَ يُفْتِي وَلاَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، حَتَّى سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَجُلٌ أُصَوِّرُ هَذِهِ الصُّوَرَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: ادْنُهْ فَدَنَا الرَّجُلُ ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً فِي الدُّنْيَا كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ.
It was narrated that An-Nadr bin Anas bin Malik said: "I was sitting with Ibn 'Abbas and he was giving advice but he did not say: 'The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said,' until a man asked him: 'I am a man who makes these images.' Ibn 'Abbas said: 'Come closer,' so the man came closer. Ibn 'Abbas said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say: "Whoever makes an image in this world will be commanded to breathe the soul into it on the Day of Resurrection, and he will not be able to do that."
