Sahih Muslim Book - 37, Hadith - 5565
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَتْ: جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ، إِنَّ لِي ابْنَةً عُرَيِّسًا أَصَابَتْهَا حَصْبَةٌ فَتَمَرَّقَ شَعْرُهَا أَفَأَصِلُهُ ، فَقَالَ: لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ.
It was narrated that Asma' bint Abi Bakr said: "A woman came to the Prophet (s.a.w) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have a daughter who is about to get married, and she caught the measles and her hair has fallen out. Can I give her hair extensions?' He said: 'Allah has cursed the one who adds hair extensions and the one who has them added."'
