Sahih Muslim Book - 4, Hadith - 1059
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ أَنَّ مَطَرَ بْنَ نَاجِيَةَ لَمَّا ظَهَرَ عَلَى الْكُوفَةِ أَمَرَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ أَنْ يُصَلِّىَ بِالنَّاسِ. وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ.
It was narrated from Al-Hakam that when Matar bin Najiyah took over Al-Kufah, he commanded Abu 'Ubaidah to lead the people in prayer... and he quoted the same Hadith (no. 1056).
