حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَبُو صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الأَوْزَاعِىَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِى يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِى كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِى أَبُو سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنِى رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ الأَسْلَمِىُّ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَبِيتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِوَضُوئِهِ وَحَاجَتِهِ فَقَالَ لِى « سَلْ ». فَقُلْتُ أَسْأَلُكَ مُرَافَقَتَكَ فِى الْجَنَّةِ. قَالَ « أَوَغَيْرَ ذَلِكَ ». قُلْتُ هُوَ ذَاكَ. قَالَ « فَأَعِنِّى عَلَى نَفْسِكَ بِكَثْرَةِ السُّجُودِ ».
Rabi'ah bin Ka'b Al-Aslami said: "I used to stay overnight with the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) and bring him water for Wudu' and whatever he needed. He said to me: 'Ask.' I said: 'I ask to be with you in Paradise.' He said: 'Is there anything else?' I said: 'That is all,' He said: 'Help me to do that for you by prostrating a great deal."'
