حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَحْيَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَقَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ وَلَا يَرْفَعُهُمَا بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ.
It was narrated from Salim that his father said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w), when he started his prayer, he raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders, and (he also did that) before he bowed, and when he rose from bowing, but he did not raise them between the two prostrations."
"When a person dies, his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)
"The best of what a man leaves behind are three: a righteous child who supplicates for him, ongoing charity the reward of which reaches him, and knowledge that is acted upon after him."

"Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'"
