وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، قَالَ : هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لاَ يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمُ اسْقِ رَبَّكَ ، أَطْعِمْ رَبَّكَ ، وَضِّئْ رَبَّكَ ، وَلاَ يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ رَبِّي ، وَلْيَقُلْ سَيِّدِي مَوْلاَيَ ، وَلاَ يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَبْدِي أَمَتِي ، وَلْيَقُلْ فَتَايَ فَتَاتِي غُلاَمِي.
It was narrated that Hammam bin Munabbih said: This is what Abu Hurairah narrated to us from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w), - and he mentioned a following: “The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: ‘None of you should say (to his slave): “Give water to your Rabb (lord), give food to your Rabb, help your Rabb with Wudu’.”’ And he said: “None of you should say Rabbi (my lord), rather he should say Sayyidi or Mawlaya (my master). And none of you should say ‘Abd or my Amah; let him say my Fataya or Fatati, or Ghulami.”
