حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ عِنْدَنَا ، فَعَرِقَ ، وَجَاءَتْ أُمِّي بِقَارُورَةٍ ، فَجَعَلَتْ تَسْلِتُ الْعَرَقَ فِيهَا ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : يَا أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ مَا هَذَا الَّذِي تَصْنَعِينَ ؟ قَالَتْ : هَذَا عَرَقُكَ نَجْعَلُهُ فِي طِيبِنَا ، وَهُوَ مِنْ أَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ.
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: “The Prophet (s.a.w) entered upon us and took a nap in our house, and he began to sweat. Our mother came with a glass bottle and started to collect the sweat in it. The Prophet (s.a.w) woke up and said: ‘O Umm Sulaim, what is this that you are doing?’ She said: ‘This is your sweat; we put it in our perfume, and it is among the best of fragrances.”
