It was narrated from ‘Aishah that Al-Harith bin Hisham asked the Prophet (s.a.w): “How does the Revelation come to you?” He said: “Sometimes it comes like the ringing of a bell, and that is the hardest for me, but when it is over I have understood it. Sometimes an angel comes in the form of a man, and I understood what he says.”
