It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) picked up a sword on the Day of Uhud and said: "Who will take this from me?" They stretched out their hands, each man among them saying: "I will!" He said: "Who will take it and give it its due?" The people withdrew their hands, but Simak bin Kharashah Abu Dujanah said: "I will take it and give it its due." He said: And he took it and split open the heads of the idolaters with it.
