حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الأَحْوَلُ ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ بَلَغَكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: لاَ حِلْفَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ ؟ فَقَالَ أَنَسٌ: قَدْ حَالَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ قُرَيْشٍ ، وَالأَنْصَارِ فِي دَارِهِ.
'Asim Al-Ahwal narrated that it was said to Anas bin Malik: "Have you heard that the Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no Hilf (alliance) in Islam?' So Anas said that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) established an alliance (Hilf) between the Quraish and the Ansar, in his house."
