Sahih Muslim Book - 44, Hadith - 6468

حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الأُمَوِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : زَعَمَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ ، يُبْعَثُ مِنْهُمُ الْبَعْثُ فَيَقُولُونَ : انْظُرُوا هَلْ تَجِدُونَ فِيكُمْ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَيُوجَدُ الرَّجُلُ ، فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ بِهِ ، ثُمَّ يُبْعَثُ الْبَعْثُ الثَّانِي فَيَقُولُونَ : هَلْ فِيهِمْ مَنْ رَأَى أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ بِهِ ، ثُمَّ يُبْعَثُ الْبَعْثُ الثَّالِثُ فَيُقَالُ : انْظُرُوا هَلْ تَرَوْنَ فِيهِمْ مَنْ رَأَى مَنْ رَأَى أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ ثُمَّ يَكُونُ الْبَعْثُ الرَّابِعُ فَيُقَالُ : انْظُرُوا هَلْ تَرَوْنَ فِيهِمْ أَحَدًا رَأَى مَنْ رَأَى أَحَدًا رَأَى أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَيُوجَدُ الرَّجُلُ فَيُفْتَحُ لَهُمْ بِهِ.

It was narrated from Jabir that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: 'There will come to the people a time when a detachment will be sent out, and they will say: "Look and see if you can find among you anyone of the Companions of the Prophet (s.a.w) -" A man will be found, and victory will be granted to them because of him. Then a second detachment will be sent out, and they will say: "Is there anyone among them who saw the Companions of the Prophet (s.a.w)?" And victory will be granted to them because of him. Then a third detachment will be sent out and they will say: "Look and see if you can find among them anyone who saw someone who saw the Companions of the Prophet." Then there will be a fourth detachment, and it will be said: "Look and see if you can find among them anyone who saw someone, who saw someone, who saw the Companions of the Prophet (s.a.w) -" A man will be found, and victory will be granted because of him.'"
