Sahih Muslim Book - 44, Hadith - 6489
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، قَالاَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ (ح) وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي (ح) وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالاَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، بِإِسْنَادِ جَرِيرٍ ، وَأَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمَا. وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ ، وَوَكِيعٍ ، ذِكْرُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ.
A similar Hadith (as no. 6488) was narrated from Al-A'mash with the chain of narrators of Jarir and Abu Mu'awiyah, but in the Hadith of Shu'bah and Waki' there is no mention of 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf and Khalid bin Al-Walid.
